Paddy

Meet Paddy, our longest shelter resident. You're probably wondering how a dog as gorgeous and friendly as Paddy has been at the shelter for almost two years. Well, the truth is that she's a wonderful dog and we don't know how she hasn't been adopted yet! She has incredible basic obedience, is super loyal, is just as happy to chill on the couch as she is to go for walks, and will play fetch from sunrise to sunset. She does have her quirks, and is looking for a home without other furry pets or small children, but we know there is someone out there for this special girl. Paddy has been in several foster homes during her time with us, both rural and urban, and is content to snooze by the door until you get home. She has learned to enjoy being brushed which is beneficial as her glorious coat does need regular maintenance. Paddy would like to request that her new home provide ample tennis balls for her to chase and chew, but all she truly needs is the company of a human friend.
