Stormie

Take one look at this beautiful girl and we’re sure you’ll fall in love! Stormie is large in size (weighing in at nearly 100 pounds) and has a big personality and lots of love to go along with it. She is super sweet and is a dream to walk on leash! When she’s not spending time outside, Stormie loves to be with her people. She has some basic obedience skills, and doing a class with her new family would be a great bonding experience. Stormie can be quite selective so would love to be the only dog in the home – and get all the love she can from you! Due to her large size, she is best suited to a home with older children, and her adopters should familiarize themselves with the breed traits of Akitas. Stormie does have a prey drive so cats in the home aren’t really for her. She is waiting patiently on her new forever home that will keep this great girl active and give her all the love and attention she deserves.

Sometimes on our walks she will just stop and look at me and I’ve figured out that this means it’s time for an ear scratch and butt-rub break. If I could take her home with me, I would!”
