Meet Skippy!

Skippy is an intelligent, energetic, and loving young dog who arrived at the shelter needing surgery to correct an eye issue that was impacting her vision. She has made a full recovery and has matured into a quiet and affectionate companion in the home. Skippy’s greatest passion is the outdoors. She loves to romp through fields and practice her hunting skills on rabbits, squirrels, or birds. She also walks well on leash, and would make a great hiking companion! Don't be fooled by her photos - this pint sized pup weighs in at only 45 pounds - she's the perfect size! She warms up quickly to people, and although she can be a bit hesitant with other dogs she has made some great canine pals with proper introductions. Skippy would like to join an active family with kids over the age of ten. So, pop into the shelter to meet her – she is just a hop, skip and a jump away!

Skippy is currently staying with a foster family, please contact the Adoption Team at 403-932-2072 ext. 113 for more information!
