Penelope

There are so many wonderful things to say about the soft, smart, sweet, silly and beautiful Penelope. From her adorable full body wiggle greetings to her almost instant drop for belly rubs, Penny is a loving gal who has the most adorable ears! She is a very patient pup who is quiet and can relax for hours while her foster mom works, and who sleeps through the night in a kennel. She has learned that food and treats come to those who sit and lay down, and is still gaining strength in her back leg due to a previous injury so is a slow runner when playing. She loves chewing, removing limbs from toys, and wrestling with her big, one-year-old foster brother. Penny has been very respectful of her two older foster siblings and definitely gains confidence by having a furry friend. She has a bit of an independent streak and loves being outside, and while she may seem shy at first she’s the friendliest gal with everyone she meets. Penelope is the kind of dog who makes her foster family consider adopting a fourth dog - she’s just that lovely! Come meet Penny today and fall in love with this little gem.
