Nellie

Living with your very own model has never been easier! One look at that backlit coat and you'll see what I mean. Her golden fur wasn't always so stylish. When Nellie came in she had a severe case of mange. While it wasn't contagious, she did need to spend some time healing. Luckily for her, she got an amazing foster home that realized her star potential. I mean, look at those photos! She gained a lot of confidence since first coming in and is making us all proud. She prefers to go to a home with kids 10 or older, as she's not ready to compete with any cute young kids. If you need an Instagram dog, I would highly recommend this one. She does demand to be paid in treats, so stock up before coming down!

"Nellie is a pleasure to be around and have with you. A real sweetheart, once you have her trust she'll follow you around and be your very best pal. As sharp as she is, she's just as playful and energetic. She knows how to behave very calmly however, and often shows patience beyond her years. Though she often gets the zoomies, she's also a great napper and almost always ready for a cuddle, or an adventure hike! With her beautiful piercing gaze, she's always ready to shake a paw to let you know she's serious about any deal, as long as there's time for a snack! She's a wonderful dog who anyone would be lucky to have as a companion, and a best friend for life."
