Esther

Esther is a sweet and laid-back senior that is looking for her retirement home. A quiet girl who is reserved at first, she slowly comes out of her shell and will reward her people will gentle affection. Esther considers herself a coach potato and will happily share any available snacks with you (she might even help herself!). She is a tad curvy these days, likely a result of her Cushing's disease, but she has begrudgingly agreed to the diet that we have lovingly put her on. This distinguished lady is looking for a quiet, calm home to match her personality as she continues through her golden years. Her foster parents note that she is a joy to have around, very smart, and her tail is always wagging! She loves to spend time around her people indoors or on leisurely walks around the block. Esther would prefer a home that understands what it is like to care for a senior dog, including the possibility of changing medical needs. Because she takes a little while to warm up to people, she would like a home that has older kids or adults only. If you are the quiet, routine type of person, Esther might be the perfect dog for you!

Esther is available for the Special Needs Adoption fee of $175
