Ernie

There have been a surprising amount of athletic Ernies over the years - Ernie Davis, Ernie Banks, Ernie Ladd, and Ernie Grunfeld to name a few. This guy is keeping the legacy alive with his ability to jump and run! He is a sweet boy who can go to a home with kids, and will do best with a family that will keep him active. Hiking, running, maybe even dock diving, this boy is up for anything! Ernie has a great handle on his basic obedience and is crate trained and house trained. Weighing 40 pounds, he is a great size to both join you on hikes and join you on the couch afterwards! Ernie considers himself to be a bit of a Houdini, and although he doesn't jump over fences he will seize the opportunity to take himself on a walk if doors are left ajar. He just loves people and exploring so much, he can't help himself! This super affectionate and playful guy is so loyal to his people and is eager to please. With his joyful personality and lust for life he is sure to bring so much happiness for years to come!
